Shah Rukh Khan is my idol: Anshuman Malhotra

Mumbai, May 7 (IANS): It was a “fan boy” moment for actor Anshuman Malhotra when he got to shoot on the same location in Kashmir where Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shot some sequences for 2012 romantic drama film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”. Anshuman says he considers Shah Rukh as his “idol”.

Anshuman, who has previously appeared in shows like “Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri Ri” and “Warrior High”, was shooting in Kashmir for his upcoming show “Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha”, wherein he will be seen as Arjun.

“Shah Rukh Khan is my idol. So it was a fan boy moment for me when I got to shoot where Shah Rukh shot for his movie in Kashmir,” Anshuman said in a statement.

“Not just that I got to re-enact Shah Rukh’s signature pose which is like a dream come true moment.

“'Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha' is not just a mythological show but also a love story of Arjun and Noorie and as Shah Rukh has mastered the art of loving, I will definitely learn from him and try to enact his popular moves in the show,” he added.

“Swim Team” fame actress Pooja Banerjee will be seen as Noorie.

“Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha” will be aired on Life OK starting May 30. The show will replace “Piya Rangrezz”.
