Militants snatch four rifles from police guards in Kashmir


Srinagar, May 8 (IANS): Militants on Sunday snatched four service rifles from police guards in south Kashmir's Kulgam district.

A senior police official told IANS, "Militants snatched four service rifles including two SLRs (self-loading rifles) and two INSAS (Indian small arms system) rifles from a minority guard post in Adijan village."

The official said the four guards and their guard commander were detained for questioning.
