Dubai, Oct 21: An unforgettable classical vocal concert was held here on Friday, Oct 19th, organized by the "SUR-HINDOL", a cultural wing of the Indian Association of Dubai.
A prodigy in her chosen field, Mahalakshmi Shenoy from Karkala yet again proved her musical versatility in her rendition. As always, she proved that her music was far beyond her age. Her rendition of .the classical "khayal" raag "marubihaag" and "bhinnashdja" left listeners spell-bound and her bhajans deeply stirred the soul of the audiences comprising genuine lovers of music having a strong music sense.
In the course of the concert, she did complete justice to "kajri" (kale kale baadal) which she sang in raag "mishra shivaranjini".
Dr.Vinod Deulkar (Pune) & Vishwanath Andar (Karkala) accompanied on Tabla & harmonium respectively.
