Mangalore, Oct 22: Industrialization across the coastal Karnataka would be essential to dissuade the youth in migrating to metros in search of employment and would encourage them to settle in their native. To chalk out a plan on industrialization in the coastal district, a seminar will be held at Town Hall on Tuesday October 23, said Vishwanat Mada, president of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday October 22, he said that assuring employment to youth of undivided districts of Tulunad will be the chief objective of the Samiti. Hence, a student union will be incorporated at Mangalore University level, in this regard, he informed.
A G Pai, chief operating officer of Mangalore Special Economic Zone Ltd will be inaugurating the programme. Vishwanat Mada, Jaya C Suvarna, president of Billava Maha Mandali, Jayakrishna Shetty, founder of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti, Dharmapal Devadiga, president of All-India Devadiga Association, Nityanand Kotian, general secretary of Billava Maha Mandali, Dinakar Shetty, legal advisor of All College Students' union, entrepreneur Shammer P M and Nemiraj Shetty, former president of All College Students Union will be the chief guests present onthis occasion.
Dr B M Hegde, former vice-chancellor of MAHE will be presiding over the function, he added. Felix A D’Souza, Nityanand D Kotian, Rons Bantwal and Tulsidas Amin were present at the press meet.
