Mangaluru: Girl electrocuted in freak accident

Mangaluru, May 10: A girl living in a rented house at Tadambail near Suratkal was electrocuted on the evening on Sunday May 8 in an unexpected development.

A family from Ramadurga in Koppal district lives in a rented house in Tadambail. The mother of the eight-year-old girl, Vidya, was washing clothes at the platform adjoining the well in the courtyard of the house. Vidya approached her mother and in the process, came in contact with a water pipe. As electricity was flowing in the pipe, she got electrocuted, it is gathered.

Report about the incident was filed in Suratkal police station.
