Bengaluru, May 11: Telangana origin woman who tried to carry 1 kg gold in her rectum was detained by central customs at Kempegowda International airport on Tuesday May 10.

Hyderabad resident Rahim Munnisa, landed from Dubai in the morning when the officials arrested her. Ten gold biscuits weighing 1.17 kg worth Rs 35 lac were seized from her.

Rahim Munnisa had gone to Dubai as a house maid six months ago. She was to travel to Hyderabad via Bengaluru on Tuesday. The custom officials who had received definite information that gold is being
smuggled in the flight subjected Rahim Munnisa who landed at 4 am through thorough investigation when the truth was out.

The officials had kept a keen eye on passengers alighting at 4 pm and found that Rahim Unnisa was trying to avoid the metal detector. They therefore grew suspicious and detained her for investigation.
Preliminary investigation revealed that this is her first such offense.

    Poor lady(domestic Servant) caught with gold biscuit big announcement has been made by the custom officials. People who have invested (Anti nationals)in Swiss Bank/Panama in Billions their names not at all disclosed yet! This is our law poor have been crucified and rich have been protected! what a shame!

    Surely few biscuits are already in the pockets of customs officials. Remaining is handed over the customs for inquiry.

    BECAUSE IN THE CUSTOMS EVEN IF ONE MAN IS GENUINE HE WILL FALL PREY TO OTHER LOOTERS AND THE GENUINE PERSON WILL BE A LONE SPECTATOR IN BETWEEN THE LOOTERS.

    TRUST DEFICIT IN THE CUSTOMS OFFICIALS.
