Eight killed in Bengal accident

Kolkata, May 12 (IANS): Eight members of a wedding party were killed and 21 others injured on Thursday when the vehicle they were in overturned in West Bengal's West Midnapore district, police said.

The incident happened in Belpahari, some 200 km from Kolkata. "The group was coming from Purulia," Jhargram Superintendent of Police Sukhendu Hira said.
