Mangaluru: IMA trust founder's day celebrated in city

Mangaluru, May 14: IMA Trust founder's day was celebrated here at IMA hall on May 13.




























The programme was symbolically inaugurated by the lighting of the lamp by the president of Karnataka state IMA, Dr G N Prabhakar and other dignitaries on the dais.

Addressing the gathering, former president of IMA Mangaluru, Dr Bhaskar Shetty thanked all those who assisted him in building an IMA hall as well as his colleagues, friends and everyone who helped in building IMA and achieve what IMA has achieved till now.

Dr G N Prabhakar said, "This is a good gesture to felicitate all the past presidents who have contributed in building the IMA. No doubt next to Bengaluru, Mangaluru has the best IMA hall. I thank all of you for inviting me here to this programme."

Past presidents of IMA Mangaluru, Dr K R Shetty, Dr A V Shetty, Dr K V Devadiga, Ganesh S Pai, Dr Shantharam Shetty, Dr I G Bhat, Dr A Prabhakar Rao, Dr H S Ballal, Dr Sanjeev Rai, Dr Krishnamoorthy Rao, Dr K Bhaskar Shetty, Dr C P Habeeb Rehman, Dr G K Bhat, Dr J P Shetty, Dr K Mukund, Dr Amritha Bhandary and many others were felicitated at the celebration.
