Michelle Obama again flaunts Naeem Khan's creation

Los Angeles, May 14 (IANS): US First Lady Michelle Obama impressed fashion lovers with a blush-coloured gown designed by Indian-American fashion designer Naeem Khan at the Nordic State Dinner hosted by President Barack Obama on Friday night.

She completed the look with her hair in an updo and chandelier earrings, reports eonline.com.

While greeting guests in the White House's North Portico, the president told reporters that his wife "looks great". She playfully replied: "He stepped on my dress".

Actress Demi Lovato served as the evening's performer while several famous faces enjoyed the dinner. They included Aziz Ansari, Miranda Kerr, Tracee Ellis Ross, Al Roker, Connie Britton, David Letterman and Will Ferrell.

Leaders of Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Norway were honoured during the event and guests dined on ahi tuna for the main course and mille-feuille for dessert.

Popular Indian-American actor and comedian Aziz Ansari attended the dinner along with his mother Fatima Ansari.

Naeem Khan is a special choice for the First Lady to wear, as she first wore the designer to her first State Dinner back in 2009.
