New Delhi, May 15 (IANS): It was a sunny and warm morning on Sunday in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 27.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, weather officials said.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy with haze likely to occur towards the evening or night," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 35 percent, the official said.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature soared to 42.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature of the day settled at 27.0 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
