Toxic fumes kill five in Pakistan


Islamabad, May 15 (IANS): At least five factory workers died in Pakistan's Karachi city on Sunday when they inhaled toxic fumes while cleaning a chemical tank.

Dawn quoted police as saying that four workers got into the tank to clean it, followed by three more men who tried to rescue them. The incident took place at a factory which makes polythene bags.
