Pakistan army violates ceasefire along LoC


Srinagar, May 17 (IANS): Pakistan Army overnight violated ceasefire along the line of control (LoC) in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"The army resorted to unprovoked firing at our positions in Uri sector around 9.30 p.m. on Monday. The firing continued intermittently for half an hour," a defence source told IANS.

"They used small arms and automatics. Our troops retaliated using same calibre weapons."

There was no casualty or damage on our side, the source said.
