New Delhi, May 19 (IANS): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said the party will work "harder" to gain the trust of the people as it faced crushing electoral defeats on Thursday.

"We will work harder till we win the confidence and trust of the people," Gandhi tweeted after the party was ousted from power in Assam and Kerala.
