Free Ayurveda Camp:
A one- week free Ayurveda check-up camp for lower back pain from October 29 to November 3 will be organized by the department of Ayurveda, at the TMA Pai hospital, informed a press release issued by the hospital here.

Free Psoriasis Camp:
A free psoriasis care camp will be conducted by Kasturba Hospital (KMC) from October 29 to November 3, stated a press release issued by the hospital.
Nearly three crore people in the country suffer from psoriasis, hence the free care is being conducted, the press note added.
Many treatments are presently available to elevate or eliminate symptoms and rash associated with the said disease, at the hospitals. Interested persons may contact the organizers at 0820-2922761 or 2571967 for further details.
MESCOM Power Cut Schedule:
Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (MESCOM) officials here announced that there would be no power supply from 9 am to 6pm on November 2, 5 and 13 in the areas which have been fed by the Moodabelle feeder.
The company has backed its statement by stating that the company will be putting intermediate poles for certain lines in the area.
MESCOM in its release further informed that Alevoor, Manipur, Moodabelle, Pallai and surrounding areas will be affected due to this undertaking.
Mangalore University Convocation:
Mangalore University will hold its convocation in the month of December 2007 or January 2008. Successful doctorate and post graduate students, those who have secured prizes or medals in degree courses and those who have obtained first class in various subjects will receive their degree in the convocation, an official release issued by the university stated.
However, LLB, BPED, B.Ed students will not be considered as post graduate students, stated the release. Application forms can be obtained from the respective colleges, the release from the University added.
