Fabregas predicts an even Champions League final

Madrid, May 24 (IANS): Chelsea's Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas has predicted an even UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on Saturday, noting that the football game might go into extra time.

Upon arrival at the Spanish national team camp in Madrid, Fabregas on Monday said this year's Champions League final will be similar to the same game two years ago in Lisbon, when Real Madrid claimed the title after a 4-1 victory, reports Efe.

The Spanish midfielder praised his former club Barcelona after defeating Sevilla 2-0 in the Copa del Rey final on Sunday, with the Catalans claiming the domestic double after snatching La Liga title earlier.

Real Madrid will face neighbours Atletico Madrid on May 28 at San Siro in Milan in the Champions League final.
