Minor girl raped, thrown off roof in Pakistan

Karachi, May 29 (PTI): In a shocking incident, an eight-year-old girl was brutally raped and then thrown off the roof of her house in Pakistan's Karachi city.

The girl's post-mortem report concluded that she was first raped and then thrown off the roof of her house in Site Industrial Area of the city yesterday.

"Doctors have found evidence of sexual assault. She has sustained injuries on her head," said Seemi Jamali, the medico legal officer of Jinnah Hospital.

Jamali said the girl's body was sent for autopsy to the Civil Hospital due to absence of a female medico-legal officer at the Jinnah hospital.

Mubarak Pathan, a medico-legal officer at Civil Hospital, said the police were now investigating why the girl's family and relatives were reluctant for an autopsy.

Asmatullah Marwat, the incharge of the Site Industrial Area police station, said the family had claimed that the girl died after she fell off the roof where she had gone to play. "We are now investigating the matter," he said.

A researched report released by the Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child stated earlier this year that 10 cases of child sexual abuse took place every day in Pakistan last year, bringing the total to 3,768 cases in 2015.

People of India & Pakistan are Punjabis, Sindhi's, Gujrathis, Biharis, UP walas, Kashmiris, Hydarabadhis, Bengalis etc. Come from same Civilization, behave similarly, have much in common on food, culture, tradition, corruption, discrimination etc,. We have mutual Love & Hate problem because we are ignorant greedy brothers.

    While it is sad to hear such incident from any part of the world, don't we have enough rapis*ts in our own country? and the way they are enjoying political patronage? for instance, the brutal rapis*t mohd afroz in the nirbhaya case was gifted a seewing machine by kejri... may be the dirty politicians feel rapis*ts needs to lead a dignified life and have no sympathy towards girl's family..

    Why we should look at the speck of sawdust in others eyes and pay no attention to the plank in our own countrymen.
    There are worse, disgusting, criminals & psychopaths all around in India. They deserve death by hanging or stoned to death without mercy. Pakistan will surely carry-out the punishment. Whereas, in India they are taken care in the prison. (life sentence)

    STRIPPING OFF AND PARADING AND RAPES ON A DAILY BASIS IN INDIA.

    Pakistan has gone from bad to worse, we better not talk about that country. The country not worth considering this single case, leave alone taking examples from it.

    With so many rapes, abductions, child-trafficking and molestation taking place in our own country, we better look into our internal affairs and try to improve.

    The soon the law is made strict against this kind of crimes, the count will keep rising.

    Our government raised a big slogan about beti bachao and gives big talk about beti bachao but nothing is happening on part of government still rape, abuse, killing, honor killing etc going on, beside that amitabh is dancing on their tune. Somebody do something about it.
