Jordan's King Abdullah II appoints new prime minister


Amman, May 29 (IANS): King Abdullah II of Jordan has appointed Hani al Mulqi as the prime minister, the media reported.

Al Mulqi, who succeeds Abdullah Ensour, was Jordan's former foreign minister and also former ambassador to Egypt, Xinhua news agency reported.
