PMO website launched in six languages

Delhi, May 29 (IANS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday launched the website of the Prime Minister's Office in six different languages, said an official statement.

The languages are Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

The official website of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Office, www.pmindia.gov.in, is now multi-lingual and can now be accessed in six regional languages, said the statement.

"The initiative is part of the on-going efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reach out to the people and communicate with them in their own language," said Sushma Swaraj on the occasion.

Other regional language versions of the website will be set-up in a phased manner, she added.
