I know these people very well, for the same reason I raised the question.
Now coming to age factor- just look L K Advani or other senior politicians who are still active & doesn't show their age, unlike Naidu or our Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, just watch how they walk or talk, you will know their time is up.
Karunanidhi or Jayalalitha too are jaded & only their tongue now wags more.
Why wait for present day youngsters to age like these or why not utilize their youth & enthusiasm when it is still there?

    Isn't Nirmala too an outsider?
Why give tickets to people who have lost or those old people who better need to take retirement paving the way to young faces?

I tend to agree with you on certain points. I too do not know who these people are. However on the age factor, When Poojari can contest despite being on the wrong side of 70s & losing 5 times, why cant the others?
