I have been using glue traps since a few years. They used to work earlier but nowadays rats have found a way to glide through these traps and eat the bait so they do not get stuck to them. Only if the rats tail or body gets stuck then the rat can be caught and this can happen only when the rat is startled or caught off guard.A tubular glue trap could be more effective and maybe easy to manage.
