Further it was learnt that the team was involved in bike thefts in various places like Madikeri, Beltangady and Sullia. Five stolen bikes hidden with the motive to sell, in a house in Kambalabettu and another five were hidden behind Kasargod bus stand were also recovered.

Bantwal circle inspector, Belliappa, Vittal station house officer, Prakash Devadiga and the entire team which has been able to crack the robbery case has been awarded with Rs 10, 000 cash price.

When being asked about the proposed police personnel strike on June 4, SP said "I am personally visiting all the stations in the district and trying to convince the police personals. As of now two police stations have withdrawn their leave application. I am confident that will be able to convince them."

Good work by Police department. Police should be well paid in India or they should get better insensitive since their job is very hard and risky. All fines and service should be charged 15%service charges and this 15% should be distributed to Police dept according to their rank having point system. This might stop corruption.

Cops should be rewarded. Give these robbers such pain in their ass. Better to kill them. This is too much.

It's not good intention. Just give them minimum punishment and let them leave that job..and become a good human-being. No body born criminal. Circumstances make them do so..due to jawani ki bhool.
