Spain's Pedro says winning third straight Euro will be difficult

Madrid, June 5 (IANS): Spanish forward Pedro Rodriguez said it will be difficult for the team to win the third straight football title of the UEFA Euro.

The Chelsea forward on Saturday stressed that it will be difficult to repeat the success of the last two editions and become the first team to win three consecutive titles, reports Efe.

He explained that there are very good teams in the tournament, which kicks off on June 10 in France, so his side should go step by step to advance through the group stage and then move forward with the desire to reach the final.

Spain compete in Group D, along with Croatia, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

Pedro, who is included in Spain's 23-player list, added that he wants to return to work in the field with his teammates to help his country win the Euro starting on June 10 in France.
