UAE: Light Showers Likely in Some Parts of Dubai

Khaleej Times

DUBAI, Nov 3: As Cyclone 05A in the Arabian Sea weakened and became a tropical depression, there were light showers in a few places in the country yesterday.

According to the Dubai Meteorological Office, light showers are expected in some parts of the emirate in the next two days.

The clouds lowered the temperature yesterday to 25 degrees.

However, there was no high tide. Duty Forecaster Amna Yasin told Khaleej Times, “The weather would be cloudy and there would be rain in some places over the next two days. Sunday and Monday would be partly cloudy while Tuesday is expected to be sunny.”

She added that Cyclone 05A had influenced the weather conditions in the UAE and skies remained cloudy most of yesterday.

“However, the cyclone has already weakened and become a tropical depression. We can say it has died,” Yasin said.

The minimum temperature today will be 25 degrees and the maximum 33 degrees, she added.

While residents expressed apprehensions over low visibility in the coming days, weather experts said the climatic conditions would not affect visibility.
