Mumbai, June 7 (IANS): Mumbai based exercise equipment manufacturer Jerai Fitness has partnered with South Africa's health and fitness online academy, Trifocus Fitness to offer fitness courses recognised by 'Register of Exercise Professionals, South Africa' (REPS).

“This newly formed partnership between Jerai and Trifocus will soon offer internationally accredited health and fitness training courses in English as well as in Hindi, Marathi and other regional languages through an online venture, www.trifocusfitnessacademy.in,” the equipment manufacturer said in a statement.

“www.trifocusfitnessacademy.in will offer world class and internationally recognised exercise training courses primarily to skill fitness training professionals in India. It will be my 'Swastha Bharat' initiative,” Rajesh Rai, managing director, Jerai Fitness, was quoted as saying in the statement.

“These young professionals will also be facilitated employment in over 3000 gymnasiums across the country by Jerai Fitness. Also, REPS certification will help them to attract lucrative placement opportunities from all over the world.”

The specialised courses recognized by REPS -- a public register which recognises the qualifications and expertise of fitness professionals across the globe -- will be offered in multiple Indian languages on 3G/4G platforms in association with leading cellular companies in India, the statement added.
