Mangaluru, Jun 8: Fr Victor Rodrigues, a priest of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) successfully defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), Rome. His scholarly research was on 'the triadic blessing of Saint Paul: an exegetical- theological study of 2 Cor 13:13'
Dr Fr Victor Rodrigues hails from Taccode, here. He is the second son of Rosy and late Mark Rodrigues. He is a member of Eastern India Province (INE). He was ordained priest in 1999. He has served as parish priest of Balangir, Orissa and as principal of Saint Lawrence School, Tentoloi, Orissa.
He is backed by best wishes and prayerful support as he takes up a new responsibility of formator and professor at the regional theologate, Sambalpur, Orissa.
