Udupi: Catholic Sabha to hold annual general meeting on June 12

Udupi, Jun 9: Catholic Sabha, Udupi will hold it regional annual general meeting at St Mary’s English Medium School, Kannarpady on Sunday, June 12.

William Machado, president, Catholic Sabha, Udupi Region will be presiding over wherein Msgr Baptist Menezes, diocese of Udupi will be inaugurating the ceremony.

Dr Thomas Quadros, former president, Mangalore region, Ronald D’Souza, Industrialist, Dubai, Veronica Cornelio, president, Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd and Nivedith Alva, President, Karavali Development Ltd will deliver eminent talks.

Fr Richard Menezes (OCD) will be felicitated with the Francis Danthi Memorial Literature Award for his translation of the Kannada Book ‘Louis Martin Matthu Zelie Gerin, Kraisthiya Kutumbagalige Maadari’, (Louis Martin & Zelie Gerin, A Role Model to the Christian Families) into Konkani on the occasion.

Wilson Rodrigues, Shirva, Michael D’Souza Mudarangadi, Melvin D’Souza, Shirva, Renita Prima D’Souza, Moodubelle, Violet Baretto, Koteshwara, Glewan D’Souza, Padukone, Royston Castelino, Nakre will be felicitated for their achievements in their fields.

Fr Fernandes Gonsalves, spiritual director for Catholic Sabha, Udupi Region, Fr Fred Mascarenhas, dean and spiritual director for Catholic Sabha, Udupi deanery, Dayan Rodrigues, Thottam, Elroy Kiran Crasta, Former President, Catholic Sabha, Udupi region will be present.
