Mangaluru: Orientation programme held at Expert PU College

Mangaluru, Jun 9: The Secretary and Correspondent of Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation ® Mangalore, Ushaprabha N Nayak addressed the first PU students and their parents during an orientation programme at Expert PU College, here on Thursday, June 9. 

Addressing the parents and students, she said, “Parents’ role is very important in shaping their children’s future.  Students should never take studies as burden, but accept it whole heartedly with pleasure.” 

Prof  Narendra L Nayak, the chairman of Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation ® Mangalore presided over the programme and addressed the gathering. “In the next two years of PU education, if students work hard with smartness and interest, they will surely have a better future,” he said.

Academic Advisor, Prof Pradeep Kumar M, said that punctuality, fixed goal in life and self discipline are the three important things for success. 

The principal of the College, Prof Ramachandra Bhat mentioned the various rules and regulations of the college to the gathering.

Yoga instructor, Gopal Krishna Delampady, Student Welfare Officers, Manikantha  and Deepti Joshi were present on the dais.

Rank holders Vaishnavi Ballal (ISMH- 7th Rank, Engineering 19th Rank, Medical 22nd Rank, Agricultural Science 5th Rank, Veternity  Science 22nd Rank, B. Pharma 24th Rank)  and Niranjan Kamath (Engineering 2nd Rank, B. Pharma 2nd Rank) were honoured. 

Lecturers Niha Shiekh and Krithi KR compered the programme.
