Bantara Sangha holds annual educational, social welfare programme

Mumbai, Jun 14: Bantara Sangha, held their annual educational and cultural welfare programme at Radhabhai Thimmappa Bhandary auditorium, Kurla east on Sunday June 12. The programme was sponsored by Charishma Builders Managing director Sudhir V Shetty in memory of late Vasu K Shetty. Sudhir Shetty inaugurated the programme.












President of the Sangha, Prabhakar L Shetty lit the traditional lamp. Thunga Hotel group's managing director and founder of social welfare project Sudhakar Hegde was present. He distributed annual scholarships and sponsorships to hundreds of students, financial assistance to talented physically challenged deprived of education and widow pension among community members.

Convener of the Sangha, S M Shetty college principal Dr Sridhar Shetty, S M Shetty junior college principal Seema Sablok, Karnataka free night high school's K Ramachari, Nithyananda Free night high school Worli's Somashekar Hegde were felicitated on the occasion.

Vice president of the Sangha, Padmanabha S Payyade, honorary treasurer CA I R Shetty, joint secretary Kishore Kumar Shetty, joint treasurer Mahesh S Shetty, higher education committee vice president Eppanna M Shetty, secretary Bhaskar Shetty Karnad and treasurer CA Ramesh A Shetty were present on the dais.

Ganesh Ermal troupe presented a music programme. Sudhir Shetty honored cultural and literary committee executive president Ravindranath Bhandary and others. The programme started with Bantara Geethe. Prashanthi D Shetty said the prayer. Ashok Pakkala compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
