Lourdes Central School celebrates Fr Wilson D’Souza's birthday

Mangaluru, Jun 16: ‘Birthdays are good for health. Studies reveal that those with more birthdays live longer’.

With the desire of good health and longer life for Lourdes Central School manager Fr Wilson Vitus L D’Souza on his 72nd birthday, a programme was organized by the school under the guidance of the principal Fr Robert D’Souza.


































































Invoking God's blessings on the manager, the choir sang a prayer song that marked the beginning of the day’s celebration. The vice principal Belita Mascarenhas welcomed the dignitaries and the entire Lourdite family. Seema Lobo and Mridula of class XII conveyed their birthday wishes on behalf of the teachers and students respectively.

It was a delightful moment for the manager as he cut his birthday cake with his family members. On behalf of all the staff and students of LCS Fr Robert D’Souza and Fr Stany Pinto offered a bouquet of flowers and the vice principal Belita Mascarenhas presented a birthday gift as a token of love and respect.

A power point presentation on the sweet and memorable moments of the manager was presented by Shanthi Menezes, Mary D’Souza and Reema.

The tiny tots of class IV entertained the audience with a musical drama on the movie Sholay which was and probably is Fr D’Souza’s favourite movie.

Principal Fr Robert D’Souza in his address wished him good luck in his future endeavours. The manager thanked the organizing committee and the entire LCS family for organizing such a wonderful programme.

Sowmya Rao of Class XII proposed the vote of thanks. The whole programme was compered by Irene and Joanna of Class XII.
