Man arrested after climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge


Sydney, Jun 17 (IANS): A man was arrested on Friday after he got out of his taxi and started climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Footage from a news helicopter showed the man sitting on one of the bridge's arches with his arms crossed, Xinhua news agency reported.

The man, who initially refused to come down, was arrested after a police operation was launched.
