US national without valid visa deported from Pakistan


Islamabad, Jun 21 (IANS): An American travelling without a valid Pakistani visa was deported on her arrival at Rawalpindi's Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

An official of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) told Dawn that during verification of Etihad Airways flight EY-231 passengers, the immigration staff found the documents of Krystle Nicole Keehn were invalid.

The FIA said the woman was deported to her port of origin on the same flight.

In a similar development, 10 Pakistanis deported by Turkey were arrested on their arrival at the airport and sent to the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell.
