Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jun 22: Dropped Wakf minister, Qamarul Islam, trained his guns at Congress leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, and state chief minister, Siddaramaiah, having been frustrated at his unceremonial ouster from the state ministry.

"BJP is not in a position to free Karnataka of Congress merely with its own efforts. However, Congress party itself is digging its grave and moving towards making the state free of Congress with its wrong decisions," he stated. Islam said that Hyderabad Karnataka region, and particularly minorities living in this part of the state have faced injustice with his ouster. He vowed to show to the party his clout and eminence by living amidst the people of his region in the coming days.

"I was repeatedly told by Mallikarjun Kharge and chief minister that I would not be dropped. Still, at the end I was shocked to see that my name had figured in the list of dropped ministers," he explained.
