Dubai, Jun 23: On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the city's International Holy Quran award, a rising young Islamic scholar from the southern part of India, Maulana NKM Shafee Sa’adi will address the huge crowd on the topic 'Quran’s lessons for peaceful world' at Mahasin Indian Academy School.
Maulana Shafee Sa’adi is a young Islamic scholar, leader and social activist, who has been contributing to in every possible way. He is also the director of Karnataka Waqf board and state president of Sunni Student Federation organization.
His contribution towards education for the young generation is commendable. He is the founder of Jamiya Sa’adiya wing in south India, Bengaluru. He is a multlingual scholar and can deliver his speech in Kannada, Malayalam and Urdu.
This is the first time in history that a Karnataka scholar will be delivering his speech at the International Holy Quran Award function, since the past 19 years.
Dubai Jamiya Sa’adiya will be the official organizers and promoters for this particular event. Sayyad Fazal Koyamma Thangal, UAE national leaders, Samastha Jammiyath ul Ulama scholars and a few Dubai officials will be the main guests for the evening.
ICF, KCF and RSC have joined hands to promote the event and their officials said that a minimum of 5,000 people will gather on Friday June 24 evening. Special transport is arranged all across Dubai to the venue. Special seating is arranged for family members and ladies.
Official member and ICF Middle East general secretary Abdul Azeez Saqafi Mambad, reception committee director Abdul Kareem Thalangara, Sa’adia manager Ahmad Musliyar, secretary Ameer Hassan, KCF publicity committee chairman Abdul Jaleel Nizami, KCF general secretary Kalandar Kabaka, KCF Dubai RafeeK Kalladka and KCF Ajman Nizam Madani were present during the press conference.
