Padmanabha is new KASSIA Chief

Bengaluru, Jun 27: Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) has elected A Padmanabha as its President for the year 2016-17.

A banker-turned industrialist, Padmanabha has nearly three decades experience as an entrepreneur and supplier as well as manufacturer of engineering products to public sector units. 

As a long-standing votary of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), he has served earlier as the joint secretary, general secretary, vice-president and president of Peenya Industries Association, said a press note issued by KASSIA.

Elections to the new Council of Management and General Body of the KASSIA were held on Sunday. 

Other office-bearers for the year are: R Hanumanthe Gowda (vice-president), V K Dikshit  (Immediate past president), B Praveen (general secretary), T Diwakar Reddy (Joint Secretary-I); Ninganna S. Biradar (Joint Secretary-II), G. Murali (Treasurer).
