Guerrilla killed in Kashmir gunfight


Srinagar, Jun 29 (IANS): Security forces on Wednesday killed a separatist guerrilla in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.

A senior police officer told IANS that the militant died in a gun battle in Warnow (Lolab) village where security forces had launched an operation.

Reports reaching here said youths started stoning the security personnel immediately as news of the militant's death spread.
