Ashok Leyland logs 7% volume growth in June


Chennai, July 1 (IANS): Commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland Ltd closed last month with a volume growth of seven per cent, the company said on Friday.

In a statement, Ashok Leyland said it sold 11,108 units last month as against 10,429 units in June 2015.

For the April-June 2016 quarter, the company has reported sales of 31,165 units up from 28,154 units sold during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
