Explosion heard near US consulate general in Jeddah: media

Riyadh, Jul 4 (IANS): An explosion was heard on Monday near the US consulate general in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Al Jazeera cited local media as saying.

The Saudi Arabian security forces has neutralised a suicide bomber, while one soldier was injured in the incident, Xinhua cited Al Jazeera as saying.
