Puttur: St Philomena College holds welcome programme for freshers

Puttur, Jul 4: St Philomena College organized a welcome programme to extend cordial welcome to first degree students on Saturday July 2 in college auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by the Correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto. In his presidential address he said, “Knowledge should be transformed into wisdom. Educating the mind without educating the heart is of no use.”

The principal Prof Leo Noronha presented the code of conduct of the College. The campus director Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro expressed his best wishes.

Anarghya presented the prayer song. The vice principal Prof Vishnu Bhat welcomed the gathering. The Student Welfare Officer Dr Vijaya Kumar M proposed the vote of thanks. Student Welfare Officer Prof Bharathi S Rai compered the programme.
