Mumbai, Jul 5 (IANS): Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) on Tuesday said it has secured export orders worth $71.3 million from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Ltd (MHPS) through its joint venture companies.

The contract of L&T-MHPS Boilers Private Ltd (LMB), a joint venture (JV) of the company, includes supply of pressure parts for a 2x1,000 MW power plant in Indonesia and includes furnace header, panel, coils and piping, the company said in a statement.

The JV is currently executing nine export orders for the supply of pulverisers and pressure parts for various MHPS projects in Japan and Indonesia and has already executed eight of its export orders to the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia.

The contract of L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Private Ltd (LMTG), another joint venture company, includes supply of turbines for the 2x1,000-MW plant.

This takes its tally of export orders to 22 units, of which 11 are presently being executed.
