Sullia: 65-year-old man electrocuted at home

Sullia, Jul 6: In an incident which occurred on the evening of Monday July 4 at Kanakamajalu in the taluk, a senior citizen lost his life due to electrocution.

Kudkuli Damodar Gowda (65), a well known veteran activist of cooperative movement, was trying to repair an electricity supply fault at this home when he suffered from electric shocks and died.

Gowda is survived by wife and two sons including Lohit Kumar, who happens to be the executive officer of Kanakamajalu cooperative society.

He was former president of Kanakamajalu cooperative society and was currently director of Kanakamajali milk producers cooperative society.
