Los Angeles, July 12 (IANS): Country singer Craig Morgan's son Jerry Greer was found dead after he got involved in a boating accident at Kentucky Lake in Tennessee.
According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, the 19-year-old's body was on Monday recovered from the lake hours after he was reported missing, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Greer's family has confirmed his death.
"It is with deep sadness that I am confirming the passing of Jerry Greer, son of country music entertainer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer," a statement read.
"The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and requests prayers at this time as they privately mourn this terrible loss... Funeral arrangements are pending," the statement read further.
Greer, who recently graduated from Dickson County High School, was on a raft with another man when they were fell into the water. Greer never resurfaced though he wore a life jacket.
