Mangaluru, Jul 14: After an Eicher truck hit a pedestrian named Gasper Lobo (84), he lost his life. The accident occurred at Kulshekhar here on Tuesday July 12.
Lobo was walking by the side of the road when the truck in question knocked him down. He sustained critical injuries in the accident and breathed his last later.
Gasper, it is gathered, had retired after working as the supervisor of Malemane Estate, Chikkamagaluru, for 35 years. He is survived by wife, son, and four daughters.
