Kaup: MLA Sorake inaugurates Bapooji Seva Kendra in Hiriadka

Kaup, Jul 17: MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake inaugurated Bapooji Seva Kendra in Hiriadka on July 16. Speaking on the occasion, he said that as part of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s vision of decentralization, the facilities such as RTC, Sandhya Surakasha, Income and caste declaration, Manaswini etc will be available in twelve grama panchayats in Kaup constituency.

Zilla panchayat member Chandrika Kelkar, Taluk panchayat member Laxmi Narayana Prabhu, Bommarabettu grama panchayat president Malathi Acharya, Vice president Chandrashekar Gudde Angadi, Panchayat development officer Suresh Kemmannu, former president Suresh Nayak Munduje, Vinod Kumar, Poornima Shetty, Madhukar Kamath, Vinaya, Usha, Pushpalatha, Gopala Sherigar and other panchayat members, Shivanna Shetty Kudi, Bhaskar Poojary Bommarabettu, B S Naik and others were present.

The Minister during the visit to MLA’s office thanked the doctors who treated one and a half month old child Arjun who is completely recovered after being ill due to recent thunder storm. He described it as one of the amazing incident of the year.

Addressing a meeting of backward class hostel wardens and department officials, he asked them to maintain the hostels properly making sure that the children get the facilities provided by the government.

He said that he will be providing the water heater to Kaup Hiriadka hostels from MLA’s funds. He asked Taluk panchayat and Zilla panchayat members to visit the hostels in their area and conduct inspection.

Zilla panchayat president Dinakara Babu, backward class department commissioner Harish Gavnkar, social welfare department’s Premanath, Tahsildar Guruprasad, EO Sheshappa, Zilla panchayat members Mairmadi Sudhakar Shetty, Wilson Rodrigues, Chandrika Kelkar and others were present.
