17-year-old Alisha Behura wins So You Think You Can Dance


Mumbai, Jul 18 (India Today) : Alisha Behura, a 17-year-old dancer from Bhilai, won the show that aired on &TV and was judged by Terence Lewis, Bosco Martis and Madhuri Dixit Nene. Alisha is fantastic at hip hop, Krumping and other street styles, and has been a Dance India Dance Season 4 contestant. She walked away with the trophy and the grand prize of a Maruti Alto K10.


The race to the finale witnessed an intense dance-fight between the top four contestants Alisha, Tarun, Aryan and Kalpita, as they grooved for one last time on the stage.

The Finale episode was star-studded, thanks to the presence of the cast of the upcoming movie, Dishoom. Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez also performed a power packed number from their movie.


As always, Bollywood's dancing diva, Madhuri Dixit Nene set the stage on fire. She performed on iconic numbers earlier picturised on Madhubala, Rekha, and even Sridevi's popular song, Mere Hathon Mein from Chandni. The actress also danced to Mohe Rang Do (visuaiised on Deepika in Bajirao Mastani) and on her own number (Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar)
