Udupi: Four from district commit suicide

Udupi, Jul 20: Dismayed by personal happenings in his life, Kamalaksha Hegde from Saligrama near Kota jumped into the well of the house on Tuesday July 19 morning. A case about the incident was filed in Kota police station.

Gunakar Shetty (50), a resident of Horlali in Kudi village near Brahmavar hanged himself from a tree in the thicket adjoining Nukkur primary an high school in Kudi village. A case about the incident was filed in Brahmavar police station.

Ravichandra Acharya, son of Gopal Acharya, resident of Renjal near Karkala, consumed poison on Monday night in a thicket near his home. It is said that he was frustrated with life because of some personal problems. A report about the incident was filed in rural police station Karkala.

Suresh Poojary (35) from Moodabettu in Yadthady village hanged himself from a tree by the side of a rivulet near his home on Monday July 18 night. The report filed in Brahmavar station claims that Suresh was bothered by personal problems.
