Udupi Nov 24: A workshop on human resource management known as ‘Explore...itz all about people’ is being organized today by the ICFAI National College at its auditorium on Saturday Nov 24 at 9 am and expected to end at 5.30 pm, states a press release.
Assistant commissioner of Kundapura, K A S Ramesh and zone vice president of JCI, Hussain Haikady will be chief guests. According to Dr Kusum, centre head of ICFAI National College management is nothing but motivating other ‘people’.
Further the release states that human resource management is the strategic and coherent approach to the management of an organisation’s most valued assets - the people working there who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement and the objectives of the business. The workshop basically tries to encompass the under graduate students, faculty and employees of the district.
The speakers at the workshop will include Veera Katpitya, officer of Central Bank of India, Mangalore, who will give a talk on the topic ‘Neuro Linguistic Programming’ and the assistant controller of Legal Metrology, Govt of Karnataka and trainer from JCI Kundapur, Mohamed Anwar will talk at length on ‘Leadership skills’.
Prof S S Hedge, faculty of Syndicate Institute of Banking Management, Manipal, will be dealing with the topic ‘Problem solving skills’, the release informed.
