Armed men take hostages in France church, two 'neutralised'

Paris, July 26 (Agencies): At least two men armed with knives have taken hostages in a church near Rouen in northern France, BBC reported.

The France 3 network said a priest, two sisters and churchgoers were among those held.

Two men who took several people hostage in a church in France's northern Normandy region have been "neutralised", a police source said on Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear if the assailants had been killed or taken alive during a police operation.

Prabhu, This Incident happened in France , But here the atrocities continue unabated . There is a steep decline in Karnataka however after the Congress came to power , But in the other places we could definately blame Feku, Daku & all the fringe elements that are associated with them.

What I mean is that if it is church any where in the world we have to blame feku, daku,BD,BJP,RSS,VHP etc., which will help some groups who are born for that job,to release the stress.... and avoid going to doctor for medical help.

Not a big deal. France was one of the country which rejected India's plea, when Indians protested against Pakistan 7/11 terror attack. You sow what you reap

    Roshan,

This shows the naivety on those who set immigration policies. They think all people are same and all are peaceful. They think all the culture and traditions of the people who come into their countries are good.

The fact is that all cultures are not same. All cultures are not compatible with democratic values. All cultures dont value free speech.

Now some people will say the attack carried out in japan was a crazy so the acts carried out over here also should be considered same. But my question is how can one crazy person meet another crazy person and both of them can agree to carry out a violent act? what may be bringing those two together to carry out such act? what would be the motivation be?
