Route Mobile acquires Cellent Technologies


Mumbai, Jul 28 (IANS): Route Mobile Limited, a messaging and voice API company, on Thursday announced it has acquired Mumbai-based Cellent Technologies, a mobile marketing solution company that offers SMS and VAS (value-added service) solutions for enterprises and multinational corporations.

"We are making strategic acquisitions to strengthen our presence in markets globally. This is our first such acquisition and we are delighted to have Cellent's team and customers join the Route Mobile family," said Rajdip Gupta, CEO, Route Mobile Limited, in a statement.

Cellent Technologies has presence in the A2P messaging markets in the Middle East and Africa.

"We, at Cellent, are delighted to partner with Route Mobile's vision to build a world class messaging company from India," added Siddharth Goel, Founder and Director, Cellent Technologies.
