Tarun Arora plays the baddie in Chiranjeevi's 150th film


Chennai, Jul 29 (IANS): Actor Tarun Arora, last seen in Tamil thriller "Kanithan", will be playing the main antagonist in megastar Chiranjeevi-starrer yet-to-be-titled Telugu project, which is the official remake of Tamil film "Kaththi".

"Tarun has been officially signed on. He's expected to start shooting in a few days," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

Known for his brief role in "Jab We Meet", Tarun made a smashing comeback in "Kanithana earlier this year.

"Director Vinayak loved his performance in the Tamil film and immediately brought him on board,a the source said.

In Vijay-starrer "Kaththi", Neil Nitin Mukesh played the baddie, and he was also approached for the Telugu remake. However, he declined the offer.

The yet-untitled remake marks Chiranjeevi's 150th film and it's being produced by Ram Charan.
