Rainy Saturday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Jul 30 (IANS): It was a rainy morning in the national capital on Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

According to the weather office, at 8.30 a.m., humidity was 95 per cent and the city has received 12.9 mm rainfall in past 24 hours.

"The skies will remain cloudy with moderate rainfall or thundershower likely to occur in different parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.

Friday's maximum temperature settled at 29.1 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average while the minimum was 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
